Joseph E. “Joe” Mullins, 63, of Jonesboro, AR, formerly of Ferrellsburg, WV, departed this life on Friday, June 30, 2023.

He was born September 23, 1959, at West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Tom Mullins and Wanda Sue Brumfield Smith.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Martha Mullins; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Georgia Gartin Brumfield; and one nephew, Rick Mullins.

Joe was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are four brothers, Greg (Tina) Mullins of Ferrellsburg, WV, Rod (Cheri) Mullins of Jonesboro, AR, James (Erica) Mullins of South Charleston, WV, and Jeff (Ester) Smith of Missouri. Additionally, Joe leaves behind his aunts, many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Roger Frye officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Evans Funeral Home.

To honor Joe’s wishes, his remains have been cremated and will be interred in the Frye Cemetery at Harts, WV.
