Jody Dale "Joe" Mullins, 60, passed into eternity on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Huntington Health & Rehab. He was born November 20, 1964. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Mullins.
He is survived by a son - Benjamin, granddaughters Emily and Mia and grandson Liam - all of Allen, Texas. Also surviving are sister Vicky Burns of Alum Creek, brother Gary (Darlene) Mullins of Danville, three nieces, and three nephews.
After graduating from Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio, Joe joined the U.S. Air Force, serving two tours in South Korea and at bases in New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Colorado. He was employed by the Lake City VA Medical Center in Lake City, Florida, before transferring to the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center in Spring Valley, near Huntington.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the chapel at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center at 3:00 P.M. with Chaplain Randy White officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation in Joe's honor to the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center or the local VFW.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
