Jody Wright

Jody Wright, 55, of South Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Van, WV, departed this life on March 25, 2024, after an automobile accident.

Jody was born July 12,1968 in Madison, WV.

He was the son of the late Tommy "Panic" and Mary Wright.

He is survived by his children, Brandon Mitchell of Elizabeth, WV, Colten Wright of Madison, WV, Stone (Amber) Wright of Van, WV, and Janna Wright of Chapmanville, WV; his sister, Wendy (Justin) Turner of Madison, WV; grandchildren, Boston Legg, Riddick Wright, Maddox Wright, and Kendy Wright; nephews, Jason Turner, Talan Turner, and Blake Turner. As well as a host of family and friends.

Jody was one of a kind. Anyone who knew him was touched by his great sense of humor and belly laughs. He would keep you in stitches with his jokes and one-liners. He could bring you to tears with a funny story. Jody could strike up a conversion with anyone and talk for hours. He never met a stranger.

He enjoyed music, movies, and being with his family and friends. He was more at peace and the happiest on a river bank with a rod in his hands.

To honor Jody's wishes his remains will be cremated, and his ashes will be scattered at his favorite fishing holes. No services will be held per his request.
