Jeffrey Allen Spry, 40, of Holden, WV, departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV.

He was born October 13, 1984, at Huntington, WV, the beloved son of Charlie Spry of Stollings, WV, and Audrey Elmore Hinkle of Holden, WV.HH

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Elmore; his paternal grandmother, Mae Browning; and one sister, Natasha Spry.

Jeffrey never met a stranger. He was a skilled trader. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. Among the many hobbies he had, his favorite was drawing. Above all, Jeffrey was devoted to his family and friends, and he cherished the time spent with them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Chloe Smith (Hayden Elkins) of Stollings, WV; his father, Charlie (Karen) Spry of Stollings, WV; his mother, Audrey Elmore Hinkle of Holden, WV; one sister, Kimberly (Bobby) Laws of Man, WV; one step-brother, Colton White of Ethel, WV; two nephews, Trenton Laws and Weston White; and his maternal grandfather, Larry Elmore of Holden, WV. Additionally, Jeffrey leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church at Switzer, WV, with Pastor Alvis Porter, Jr., officiating.
