Jason Lee Elliott, 46, of Chapmanville, WV, took the next step on his journey Sunday, January 12th, 2025.
Jason was born October 25th, 1978, the son of Betty Dillon and the late Jessie Carl Elliott, Sr.
An outlaw personality, if you will, Jason was nothing less than a true wild and free spirit. If smoke and good times were rolling, bet your bottom dollar he was there being the life of the party. Nonetheless, he was also known for his humongous heart. He cherished his dogs immensely and loved spending time outside with them. Above all, Jason will forever be remembered as the proudest father, an overly joyed “Popaw Jay,” the best protective big brother, and the most loyal friend. His mother meant the world to him. Jason loved his family fiercely and would go to the ends of the earth to protect those he loved.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Christina “Missy” Elliott and their unborn baby girl; brother, Jessie Elliott, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Frank and Betty Dillon; paternal grandparents, Jessie J. and Pearley Elliott; and his beloved Doberman, Dom.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Alexandria (Tyler) Norman; grandchildren, Tristan, Lincoln, and Paislee Norman; mother, Betty Dillon; sisters, Sabrina (Rickey) Harris and Charly Farris; nieces, Sierra Elliott, Karley Hall, Rhaelyn Akers, Kymber Akers, and Evie Elliott; nephew, Joseph Elliott; childhood and lifelong friend, Diana Hooper Zacharias; and his cherished loyal Doberman, Domino.
Friends will be received for visitation from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 20th, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV. If anyone would like to speak or say a few words to share memories and stories about Jason, please feel encouraged to do so.
