Jason Lee Maynor Obituary

Jason Lee Maynor, 44, of Jeffrey, West Virginia, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Jeffrey. He was born on July 18, 1980, in Madison, West Virginia. Jason lived a life marked by generosity, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to those around him.

Jason began his working life in the mines, a path familiar to many in his community. Though he worked on and off in mining over the years, it was through carpentry that he discovered his true calling. With skilled hands and a creative spirit, Jason found fulfillment in building and crafting, leaving behind not only structures but also lasting impressions on those who witnessed his work.

He was known for his kind heart and selfless nature. Jason had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand whether it meant giving someone the shirt off his back or offering a warm smile to a stranger. His presence brought comfort and connection wherever he went.

Jason’s greatest pride was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Beth Ferrell of Jeffrey; his children, Ashley Paige Maynor of Barkers Fork, Hannah Dawn Maynor of South Carolina, and Colton Jase Maynor of Jeffrey; parents, Irvan and Sherry Maynor of Jeffrey; two sisters, Nicole Maynor of Parkersburg and Rebecca Maynor of Monclo; one brother, Jonathan (Ashley) Maynor of Big Ugly; Jason was also cherished by four nephews, one niece, and two beloved grand puppies who brought him joy.

He now joins in rest his grandparents, Edith Adkins, James Adkins, Ralph Coffey, Ammond Tabor, and Ruby Tabor.

Jason’s legacy lives on through the love he gave so freely and the memories held dear by those who knew him. His warmth and generosity will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
