Holliday McMillen, 69, of Logan, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2021, leaving from her residence.
Born December 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Odis Ratcliff and Gladys “Pinky” Smith Ratcliff.
Hollie, as she was affectionately known, was an employee of Logan Regional Medical Center for over 50 years where she had worked in materials management in the surgery department. She was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of the Justice Christian Church where she served as President of the Ladies Circle. She was also a member of the Gideon Auxiliary. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Hollie cherished the time she spent raising and loving her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Harold McMillen; one daughter, Alisa Hensley; her step-children, Harold (Dee) McMillen, Jr., and Krystal McMillen; her grandchildren, Brandyn Hensley, Cameron Hensley, Emily McMillen, Trey McMillen, and Kenley Fowler; one aunt, Dorothy (William) Carrere; a special cousin, Ruth Ann Steen; and two special friends, Pam Hapney and Connie McNeely. Additionally, Hollie also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Bill McDonald and Rev. Harold McMillen, Jr., officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2021, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
