Heather Renae Blackburn Obituary

Heather Renae Blackburn, 44, of Logan, WV, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, January 18, 2025, following a short illness.

Heather was born July 20, 1979, at Logan, WV, a daughter of Anna Gore Varney and the late Teddy J. Blackburn.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father Charles "Chuck" Varney: step-sister, Shannon Varney Collins; and one cousin, Kiersten Blackburn.

Heather left many memories behind to be cherished by her mother, Anna Gore Varney, her only child and son, Ryder Jay Booth, and her half-brother, Robert "Scottie" Mathis with whom she made her home; her ex-husband and special friend, Chad Meade; her estranged husband, Ronald Booth; one step-son, Dakota Booth; step-brother-in-law, Larry Ray Collins; step-brother, Brent Varney; niece and nephew, Sydnee and Wesley Varney; half-brother, Teddy J. Blackburn; and three half-sisters, Dawna Adkins, Brandi Williams, and Nikki Scott.

Heather was a 1998 graduate of Logan High School and pursued life as a homemaker after graduation. She was a joy to be around, a breath of fresh air, and a ray of sunshine anywhere she went. She enjoyed life and was a proud mother. Her son, Ryder, gave her a great purpose for life. Heather enjoyed spending time with her family, making arts and crafts, and she could always find a reason to go shopping. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
