Glenna Maynard, born on January 24, 1949, in West Hamlin, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in Kingsport, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family. Glenna  was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, known for her unwavering kindness and love for those close to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Vicie Dalton, as well as her sister, Brenda (Larry) Price. Glenna is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward Maynard; her devoted son, Keith (Alice) Maynard; her treasured grandchildren: Tyler (Tiffany) Maynard, Jonathan Maynard, Shalyn (Shawn) Taylor, and Dalton Maynard; her caring sister, Audrey (Frank) Perkins; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory.

Glenna attended Harts High School, and was a hardworking Housewife, Kmart Associate, and Pastor’s wife.  She spent her spare time sewing quilts and singing Gospel music with her family. 

Services to celebrate Glenna's life and legacy will be held at the following locations:

·Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville, Tennessee: Viewing on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a service to follow at 7:00 PM.

·Evans Funeral Home, Chapmanville, West Virginia: Visitation on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a service at 7:00 PM.

·Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, West Virginia: Committal service on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

In celebration of Glenna's life, flowers may be sent to Christian-Sells Funeral Home or Evans Funeral Home.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
