Geneva Louise Bentley Obituary
Geneva Louise Bentley, age 89, of Mitchell Heights, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
She was born August 18, 1935, at Harts, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas and Melavee Hager Marcum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Marcum; sister, Leontia Mullins; son-in-law, Rufus Canterbury; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Dingess.
Survivors include her sons, Harry (Sally) Dingess, Larry Dingess, and Barry (Belinda) Dingess; daughter, Karen Canterbury; and sister, Dorothy (Jimmy) Ferguson. Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Katrina (Ryan) Fitzer, Wendie Dingess, Katie (Justin) Endicott, Isaac (Brittany) Dingess, and Kaitlyn Canterbury, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
To honor her wishes, Geneva's remains will be cremated, and no service will be held.
Arrangements are under the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
