Frederick Lee Hodge, 85, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024, with his niece and caregiver, Tomalene Hodge, his dog, Flowers, and his cat, Tootsie, by his side.  

He was born December 27, 1938, at Logan, WV, a son of the late Claude “Poker” Hodge and Thelma Altizer Hodge.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Conley) Hodge; his daughter, Rebecca Hodge; three brothers, Ronnie, Butch, and Jerry Hodge; and one infant sister, Jeanette Hodge. 

Fred is survived by his son, Richard Hall (Debra White); his grandchildren, Alexis, Amanda, Chris, and Mike; and his great-granddaughter Aaliyah; sisters, Bobbi Lambert and Peggy Prince; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.  

As per Fred’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV, with Orville Ellis officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
