Floria Gore

Floria Trepes Gore, 64, of Foster, WV, formerly of Greenview, WV, went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2022.

Floria was born to the late Phyllis Gail Blankenship and Gregory John Tripousis on October 22, 1957.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Leland Luther Gore, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Janet Marie Gore and Leland Luther Gore, Sr.; Her parents-in-law from her first marriage, Edna Lucille Watts-Powell and Howard Cecil Powell of Greeenview, WV; her sister, Brenda Gail Mays Cordle of Randolph, AL; her grandparents, Alexander Elwood Mays and Floria Atless Cooper-Mays, along with her brothers-in law, Terry, Philmore, Paul, and Louie Powell, sister-in-law, Vicki Powell-Cook; as well as her special grand-daughter, Kayleigh Madison Powell, whom passed at birth.

Floria is survived by her first husband, Randy Powell of Danville, WV; her son, Danny (Jennifer) Powell of Foster, WV; her daughters, Heather (Tim Johnson) Powell of Waverly, VA, and Nevaeh (Leon Fisher) Gore of Foster, WV; two step-children, Amanda Gore of Linclon County, WV, and Scottie Gore of Charleston, WV; sister, Anita (Sonny) Bowman of Enterprise, AL. Floria has seven grandchildren, Chenoa and Phoebe Withrow, Malachi and Eden Johnson, Wade Gore, Hayden Gore, and Kaydance Fisher, as well as many special nieces and nephews.

Floria was a member of West Madison Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.

A homecoming celebration will be held at West Madison Baptist Church with speakers, Ray Barker, Tony and Timmy Williams officiating the service.
