Esther Ann Damron, 71, of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV.
Born July 24, 1951, at Logan, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. White and Myrtle B. Dingess White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious uncle, Earl White, along with several brothers and sisters.
Esther was of the Church of Christ faith. She had a love for music, but her favorite genre was old country music, and she was also an avid George Jones fan. In her later years as her health declined, she enjoyed playing video games. She will be deeply missed by all of whom she had an impact.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Allen Damron of Chapmanville, WV; two sons, Nicholas Damron of Chapmanville, WV, and Matthew Damron of Juneau, Alaska; one sister, Stella Muncy of Henlawson, WV; her very special cousins, Danny and Lynn Parsons of Henlawson, WV; special aunt, Alda White of Henlawson, WV; her precious granddaughter, Abigail Damron of Siler City, NC; special friend, Cindy Mitchell of Bynum, NC; and two very special friends who prayed with her when she gave her life to the Lord, Larry and Shirley Mullins of Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, Esther leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins along with a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Esther’s life will be held at a later date.
