Eric Alan Corbet Bartram Obituary

 

Eric Alan Corbet Bartram, 41, of Chapmanville, WV, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from a fatal accident at his worksite at Marfork Preparation Plant in Raleigh County, WV.


He was born August 27, 1983, at Charleston, WV, the son of Bill and Sharon Christian of Chapmanville, WV, and Ron Bartram of Charleston, WV.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Garnet Jarrells and Robert Adkins; and his paternal grandparents, Milton and Eloise Bartram.


Mr. Bartram was employed with Alpha Metallurgical Resources. He attended the West Logan Church. He was a 2001 graduate of Chapmanville High School where he was a 3-sport athlete, playing football, baseball, and basketball. After graduation, he continued his education and sports career at Concord University as a football player. Eric was inducted into the Chapmanville High School Hall of Fame in 2018.


Eric was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite mason and a member of the Aracoma Lodge #99 A.F. & A.M. in Logan, WV. He was also a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Mason’s Valley of Logan and Charleston, the Logan 41 Royal Arch Masons, the Logan Commandery 26 Knight Templar both in Logan, the Royal Order of Jesters Court 111 in Charleston, and he was a proud noble of the Beni Kedem Shrine Temple in Charleston where he was serving on the Divan. Eric was also a faithful and dedicated member of the Logan Shrine Club where he served as secretary for several years. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 19 in Logan.


Aside from his accolades and accomplishments, Eric cherished the time he spent with his family and coaching his daughter in softball.


In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his wife, Lori Mullins Bartram; his children, Brooklyn Bartram, Jonah Perry, and Jozi Perry; one brother, Bill (Melissa) Christian; and Brooklyn’s mother, Tina Bartram all of Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, Eric leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.


Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday, September 1, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor Scotty Dingess and Rev. Roger Bartram officiating.


Burial will follow in Guyan Memorial Gardens at Chapmanville, WV, where Masonic Graveside Rites will be observed. His masonic brothers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include his stepson, Jonah Perry, and his nephews, Billy Christian, Chase Chrsitian, and Jacob Christian.
