Ella Stowers Daiger

Ella Stowers Daiger, 72, of Pecks Mill, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, leaving from her residence.

Born December 31, 1950, at Logan, WV, she was the daughter of the late Milton Stowers and Margaret Gee Gunther.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Daiger; and one brother, Joe Stowers.

Ella was a cross-country truck driver for many years. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Victory Freewill Baptist Church. She was an animal lover and enjoyed feeding the animals that would come to her yard. She also loved dogs.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son, George Muffet of Barberton, OH; one daughter, Kimberly Bryant of Dahlonega, GA; one grandson, Jacob Muffet of Dahlonega, GA; and one brother, Bob (Marie) Gunther of Myrtle Beach, SC. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
