Elizabeth "Beth" Holsten

Elizabeth “Beth” Holsten, 43, of Madison, WV, departed this life on Friday, August 11, 2023, at her residence.

She was born November 18, 1979, at Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Bill and Elizabeth Whitt Holsten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold G. Holsten.

Beth was a 1997 graduate of Scott High School. She worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in the area. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Janet (Bob) Williams of Madison, WV, and Donna (Lou) Gehrig of Clinton, TN; five nephews, Matthew Evans, Ryan Holsten, and Corey Holsten all of Madison, WV, Alvis Alderman of Beckley, WV, and Travis Sterns of Clinton, TN; two nieces, Amber Holsten of Madison, WV, and Melissa Sterns. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Whitt Cemetery at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Steve Hayes officiating.

She will be lovingly laid to rest following services Wednesday at the Whitt Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
