Earl "Dirty" Lambert

Earl “Dirty” Lambert, 75, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 2, 2023, leaving from his residence.

He was born February 15, 1948, at Omar, WV, a son of the late Dolford and Alma Mills Lambert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Emmett Lambert.

Earl graduated from Logan High School. His passion was golfing, and he was an avid outdoorsman who loved working outside. He was also an avid fan of UK Basketball. Affectionately known to everyone as “Dirty”, Earl was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who enjoyed spending time with those he loved.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years, Vickie Lambert; his two daughters, Melissa (Jim) Hill of Massillon, Oh, and Ashley (Joe) Chirico of Richmond, KY; six grandchildren, Paige Hill, Sydney Chirico, Logan Hill, Presley Chirico, Isabella Chirico, and Brayden Chirico; one sister, Debbie (John) Bartram of Logan, WV; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Mays Cox. Additionally, Earl leaves behind his nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Bill Wooten officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.

Serving as pallbearers include Kenny Phillips, Butch Nisbet, James Mills, Danny Feltner, John Bartram, and Henry Hackworth. Honorary pallbearers include Brent Bartram, Brayden Chirico, and Wally Thornhill.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
