Donna Lou Vaughn, 65, of McConnell, WV, departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2023, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

She was born March 17, 1958, at Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Fred and Peggy Sue Hensley Vaughn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shauna Vaughn.

Donna was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a Christian and a devoted member of the McConnell Tabernacle. She had a passion for fishing and working on cars. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory are one son, Brenton Vaughn and his companion, Shanna Fields of McConnell, WV; three grandchildren, Christabella Vaughn, Madelyn Payne, and Eric Payne; one brother, Fred Vaughn of McConnell, WV, along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the McConnell Tabernacle in McConnell, WV.

To honor Donna’s wishes, her remains will be cremated.
