Donna Dale Hill, 70, of Logan, West Virginia, passed away on November 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength. Donna’s life was a true reflection of her heart — always giving, always caring, always putting others before herself.

Donna was born on December 2, 1954, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Lonzo “Bill” Wells and Lenoir “Kricket” Stivers Wells.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Wells. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, George Hill; her children, Chris Hill and Heather Hill; and her treasured grandchildren, Erin Hill and Easton Bailey, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Terri Wells and Stephanie Wells; her aunt, Edith Meadows; her uncle, Johnny Stivers; along with a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.  Donna adored her family deeply, and her love for them was the center of her world. Additionally, Donna leaves behind her brothers and sisters of the Cora Volunteer Fire Department who will miss her deeply.

Donna spent many years serving her community through the Cora Volunteer Fire Department, where she was known for her steady presence and her willingness to help anyone in need. Her generosity reached far beyond her work. She was the kind of woman who showed up for people, who baked for them, listened to them, and made sure no one felt alone. She had a gentle way about her, finding peace in simple moments and strength in caring for others. Those who knew Donna will remember her unwavering kindness, her warm smile, and the quiet, steady love she gave so freely.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Verdunville Church of God at Verdunville, West Virginia, with Pastor Michael Hartwell and Rev. Steve Sullivan officiating. 

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, West Virginia. Her brothers and sisters of the Cora Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the church. Her family invites loved ones to gather, remember, and celebrate a life lived with great heart.
