Diana Lynn Dillon, 71, of Logan, WV, was called to Heaven, in her home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Diana was born on July 15,1953, in Fanco, WV. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Delores Gibson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Kimberly and Melissa; two sons, Frank Charles and Frank Marshall; one brother, Orville, Jr.; one sister, Elizabeth; one cousin, Lynn; and one brother-in-law, James.
In 1974, Diana moved to Logan, where she became the co-owner of numerous businesses. Diana was an avid singer and songwriter and spent the early 80s singing in Nashville with numerous bands such as Jim Vest and the Nashville Cats and the Hee-Haw Band. One of Diana’s most cherished memories was singing with George Jones. Diana loved gardening and being outdoors. She also loved cooking and feeding anyone who was hungry. More than anything, Diana loved spending time with her family, especially her husband and adored grandbabies. Diana was the most amazing mother and grandmother! She will always be remembered for her ability to tell a joke like no other and for her wild spirit and kind heart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Frank Dillon; one son, David (Christinia) Dillon; two daughters, Dee Dee (Randy) Workman and Kayla Dillon; one brother, Anthony; two sisters, Gloria and Wanda; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Betty; and one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth. Also left to cherish her memory are 9 grandchildren, Frank (Sarah), Jeffrey, Hunter, Jeremy, Kelsey, Chilindra, Skylar, Dakota, and Matthew, as well as 13 great-grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra, Corenzo, Paxtyn, Ella, Sophia, Zoey, Ivory Kimberly, Blaring, Bryce, Colsen, Ayden, and Alden.
The family would also like to thank special friends, Tammy Prince, Anna and the late Frank Owens, Kathy and the late Keith Garretson, Jimmy Kolovich, Harold and Kim Porter, Melissa Adkins, Eugene and Lisa Botsch, and Clayton Hogston.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with a celebration of life beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
