Debra Lynn Butcher, 66, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
She was born July 31, 1957, at Madison, WV, the daughter of the late Jack and Phyllis Craddock Butcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dean Jones.
Debbie enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and loved spending time with her grandbabies.
She is survived by one daughter, Dara Lamb of Missouri; one son, Ian Cox of Missouri; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Debbie also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
To honor Debbie’s wishes, her remains have been cremated, and there will be no services. At her request, her ashes will be spread on the Mill Creek Bridge.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
