Deborah Lynn Williamson, 72, of Verdunville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Trinity Healthcare Services at Logan, WV.
She was born February 17, 1954, at Beckley, WV, a daughter of the late Dominic Thomas Barnabi and Betty Jo Estep Barnabi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, David “Little Dave” Williamson; and one brother-in-law, Larry Wilson.
Deborah worked as a waitress for many years, having been first employed by G.C. Murphy’s then later becoming a familiar face at Parkway Drive-Inn. She had a loving and gentle spirit. After the tragic death of her son, Deborah never found the peace she was seeking, but we hope she now has found that peace.
Those left to cherish her memory include her companion of 10 years, Cumberland “Bill” Lucas of Verdunville, WV; two sisters, Deanna Wilson of Bulger, PA, and Drema (Bob) Vance of Verdunville, WV; and one grandson, Jacob Williamson of Verdunville, WV. She is also survived by her former husband, David Williamson and all of the Williamson family. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
To honor Deborah’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
