David Joe Robinson

David Joe Robinson, 80, of Lake, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2022, at his residence.

Born December 7, 1941, at Lake, he was a son of Joe and Alma White Robinson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris; one sister, Opal Woody; and one brother, Carl “Pup” Robinson.

Dave was a U.S. Army Veteran who was proud of his family for any accomplishment, big or small.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Isabell Woody Robinson; siblings, Terry (Ruby) Robinson, Ernest (Sissy) Robinson, Pauline (Harmon) Carter, Jeanette (Bob) White, and Pat Rose; step-children, Evelyn Hall, Wilma (Truman) Adkins, Buddy (Angel) Hall, and Penny (Bill) Sullins; 11 step-grandchildren, 24 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved as if they were his own, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Upon his request, no visitation services will be held, but a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
