Christopher “Chris” Paul Spears, 56 of Elyria, Ohio was born on April 28, 1964 at West Hamlin, W.Va., son of Gene and Gloria Lovejoy of Midkiff, W.Va. and the late Charles Spears. He departed this life on February 10, 2021 at his residence.

Chris enjoyed singing with his sons as a group, he was a proud member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and one son Bobby Spears.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Slagle Spears, 3 sons, Shaun (Stephanie) Spears, Tommy (Jackie) Spears and Justin (Katy) Spears. 1 Daughter, Jessica (Freeman) Fitzwater, all of Ohio. 3 Brothers, Charles Spears and Ronald (Anne) Lovejoy all of West Virginia and Terry Lovejoy of Ohio. 3 Sisters, Joyce Hawkins, Tina Lovejoy and Sandy (Darrell) all of Ohio. 13 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandson and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Chris’s request there will be no funeral services.
