Charles William "Billy" Cole Obituary

 

Charles William “Billy” Cole, 72, of Logan, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan at Logan, WV.

Born October 7, 1949, at Logan, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Dunch Cole.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Cole; two sisters, Mary Viola McDorman and Mildred Ann Rotkoski; an infant brother; and two brothers-in-law, James McDorman and Richard Rotkoski.

Billy, as he was affectionately known, was of the Pentecostal Faith. He loved singing in church, reading his Bible, and playing musical instruments, especially the harmonica. He was a 1970 graduate of Logan High School. Billy was an avid car enthusiast, and he enjoyed assembling model cars. He also enjoyed basketball and wrestling. Billy was known as a jokester, and he always had a smile. He will long be remembered for making people laugh.

Those left to cherish his memory are one sister, Rosella (Eugene) Hensley; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
