Charles Ray Adkins, 43, of Chapmanville, West Virginia, passed away at home on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.

Born March 2nd, 1981, and raised in Chapmanville, WV, where he grew up to attend Chapmanville High School, where he embraced the spirit of the Chapmanville Tigers. He loved playing baseball for the Tigers and was known for his height and agility on the basketball court. His basketball skills were developed with the help of an exceptional coach, Coach Danny Godby, who also coined the well-known nickname of P-Vine.

In addition to his technological pursuits, Charles was a skilled carpenter and a diligent coal miner in the southern coalfields for many years. His hard work and determination were a testament to his ability to take on manual labor jobs.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Charles cherished spending time with his loved ones. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. Charles was also a proud uncle, leaving behind his loved nieces and nephews: Alicea, Ethan and Kelcie Boggess, Scarlett Salyers, and Westin Adkins.
