Carrie Maxine Roberson Lane, 40, of Lake, WV, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:36 p.m., leaving from CAMC General Hospital at Charleston, WV. 

She was born December 19, 1984, at Logan, WV, to Cheryl Roberson Akers and the late Keith Stanley.

Carrie will be remembered as the vibrant, passionate, and fun-loving woman that she was. Carrie loved her family and her kids more than anything. She was always the first to want to take adventures, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Carrie is survived by her three children; her mother, Cheryl Akers; sister, Stacy (Bucky) Maynard; nephews, Brandon and Matthew Maynard; her brother, Brian Roberson; aunts, Rhonda Bowen, Brenda Ball, Marlene Ball, Darlene Deel, Terry Dent, Debra Ball and over 15 first cousins. Carrie is also survived by her significant other, Rick Ball. She is also survived by family on her father’s side, Michelle Ford, Tina Tomblin, Tyanne Gibson, Robyn Young, Misty Marston, Judy Stanley and her children, Alisha Ray, Renae Ball and her children, Rashana Grimes, and Seth Ball. 

She was preceded in death by uncles, Tracy Roberson, III, and Ira Dale Stanley; grandparents, Tracy and Maxine Roberson; paternal grandmother, Beulah Baisden; her father, Keith Stanley; and aunt, Jalana Stanley. 

Flowers and condolences can be offered to the family at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church at Hewett, WV.
