Carolyn Anne Curry, 81, departed this life peacefully on January 2, 2025, at her home in Lake, West Virginia. Known for her decades of dedication as a nurse at Logan General Hospital, Carolyn touched countless lives with her compassion and care. She will always be remembered as a loving, supportive mother to her three sons, whom she cherished deeply, and as a devoted grandmother who provided unwavering love and guidance to her grandchildren.

She was born November 20, 1943, at Ethel, WV.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Curry; the father of her children, Luther Thomas Dillon; her mothers, Elma “Tootsie” Perry and Gladys Ball; her father, Joseph L. Ball; her brothers, Paul Ball, Robert “Butch” Nelson, and James “Jimmy” Ball; and her sister, Janice Covey.

She is survived by her sons, Greg, Joey, and Eddie Dillon; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Tanner, and Grayson Dillon; her brothers, Richard Ball, Jackie Ball, and Roger Ball; and her sisters, Gaye Pridemore and Sonja Nelson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, West Virginia.
