Carole Rose Canterbury Zielger, from Logan WV was born May 4, 1950 and went home to be with our Lord December 2nd, 2025.
Carole lived an undemanding life, asking little of anyone. After graduation from Logan HS, Carole moved to Philadelphia where she married and worked as a secretary at Burpee Seed Co. until she had children. A widow at a young age, Carole returned to the workforce to support her family. After her children had grown, Carole returned to her roots in Logan WV and worked for Logan Bank & Trust until her retirement. She had a caring heart for animals. She loved spending her time in the presence of her cats, Lillie and Sissy, caring for community strays, and talking on the phone with her brother and daughters. She enjoyed shopping and facetiming with her great grandchildren. Carole was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Lillie Mae Mquire, William Harrison Canterbury, her parents William Bany Bodner, Virginia Canterbury Bodner, brothers William Bodner and John Harrison Bodner, her devoted husband Edward Edwin Ziegler Sr., her son Edward Edwin (Ziggy) Ziegler, grandsons Caleb A Carfagno, and Edward L. Koszarek.
