Carol Sue Hodgkins

Carol Sue Hodgkins, 77, of Uneeda, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, leaving from Camden Clark Medical Center at Parkersburg, WV.

Born February 13, 1944, at Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lelia Louella Price Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Marty Barnett; and two brothers, Bruce Harvey Miller and Peanut Miller.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Quinland Church of Christ. Carol loved the Lord, her church, and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brian H. Hodgkins; one daughter, Nicky (Jamie) Adkins; one son, Brian C. (Angie) Hodgkins; four grandchildren, Holly Adkins, Aaron Adkins, Heather Hodgkins, and Brandon Blevins; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Pete Miller; and two special nieces and one special nephew, Shelia Webb, Lelia Condee, and Bruce Miller. Additionally, Carol also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Chapmanville, WV, with Tim Bailey officiating.

Burial will follow in Gomez Cemetery at Uneeda, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
