Bruce Mitchell, Jr.

Bruce Franklin Mitchell, Jr., 57, of Bruno, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, from his home after a short illness.

He was born October 10, 1963, at Titusville, Florida, a son of the late Bruce Franklin Mitchell, Sr., and Janet Gay Mosley.

Bruce was a retired mechanic. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, working in his garage, and spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to celebrate his life are his four children: Molly (Cody) Arnold of Florida, James (Taylor) Legge of Georgia, Angel (Joshua) Lowe and Jenna Mitchell both of Kistler, WV; six grandchildren: Jameson, Olivia, Leighton, Trevor, Noah, and Remi; three special friends he enjoyed talking to: Clark Perry, Doug Lusk, and Kenny Kinnaman; one special nurse, Pam Harvey. Additionally, Bruce also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the Bruno Church of God at Bruno, WV, with Rev. Roger Frye officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
