Brenda L. Sanney, 66, of Clothier, WV, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at CAMC General Hospital at Charleston, WV.

She was born January 12, 1957, at Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Virgil and Anna Parsons Rickman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Rickman.

Brenda was a homemaker. She was very outgoing, and she enjoyed traveling and shopping. She also loved watching her favorite shows on television. When she was able, she attended the Monclo Freewill Baptist Church. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Brenda will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mike Sanney; one daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Baldwin of Cleveland, OH; one son, Joseph Rickman of Cleveland, OH; one grandson, Jacob Baldwin of Cleveland, OH; one brother, Virgil Lee (Janet) Rickman of Cleveland, OH; one nephew, Jonathon Rickman of Cleveland, OH; and her best friend and sister, Connie Cavett of Cleveland, OH. Additionally, Brenda leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Joe Lane officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

To honor Brenda’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following the services.
