Brenda Kay Ferguson, 52, of Whitman, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV.
Born April 2, 1969, at Logan, WV, she was the daughter of Linda Sue Epperhart of Whitman, WV, and the late Roger Lee Ferguson.
Brenda was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devout Christian and member of the Faith Independent Baptist Church at Logan, WV. Aside from serving the Lord, her greatest joys were shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Linda Sue Epperhart of Whitman, WV; one daughter, Stephanie (Lee) Salter of Whitman, WV; one grandson, Mason Salter of Whitman, WV; two sisters, Charlene (Timmy) Maynard and Darlene Ferguson all of Whitman, WV; one brother, Elvis (Anna) Eplin of Whitman, WV; special nieces and nephews whom she considered as children, Alex Eplin, Alaura Ferguson, and Jayden Ferguson all of Whitman, WV; her companion for many years, Robert “Bob” Blankenship of Peach Creek, WV. Additionally, Brenda also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Faith Independent Baptist Church at Logan, WV, at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Lusk officiating.
To honor Brenda’s wishes, her remains have been cremated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
