We regret to announce the sad passing of Ms. Brenda K. Perry, 70, of Chapmanville, WV, on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV, following a short illness.

She was born December 31, 1954, at Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Leo and Maggie Perry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three wonderful brothers, Ronald G. Perry, Charles Perry, and Roger D. Perry; and her ex-husband of 28 years, Orville “Blackie” Browning.

Brenda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Brenda is survived by one son, Donald (Jessica) Spears of Pinsonfork, KY; and two loving brothers, Danny (Denise) Perry and Junebug (Regina) Perry all of Chapmanville, WV. Additionally, Brenda leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 12, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Allen Clark officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

To honor Brenda’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following the services.
