Betty Jean (Hunter) Napier went to her heavenly home at eighty- five years of age, on November 5, 2022, surrounded by her family in Switzer, WV.
She was born on January 21, 1937, to Minnie (Chafin) Hunter (deceased) and James Hunter (deceased) in Micco, West Virginia.
She graduated from Logan High School and worked at Logan Corporation and Petroleum Products.
Betty was married to the love of her life Dana T. Napier (deceased) on December 25, 1956. She had five siblings: Mack Robinson (deceased), Raymond (Roseann) Robinson (deceased) all of California, Ruth (Orville) Dameron (deceased) of Switzer, WV, Pauline (Buddy) White of Bradenton, Florida, Jimmy (Anne) Hunter (Jimmy deceased) of Stollings, WV.
Betty was a loyal member of the Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Logan, West Virginia and served on many committees and boards.
Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband Dana T. Napier, her loving son Dana (Scott) T. Napier Jr and grandson Bradley K. Bowens.
Betty is survived by her daughter Tammie (Terry) Bowens of Switzer; granddaughter Jennifer (Justin) Bates of Morrow Ohio, daughter-in law Margaret Napier of Aurora, Colorado, granddaughter Michelle (PD) Lowe, Stollings, great grandchildren Dylen, Hannah, MaKenzee, Taylor (Frank), and Joseph and a host of nieces of nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday November 10th at Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Logan, WV at 4:00 pm.
