Barbara Kay Lindenmuth

December 29, 1949 ~ August 30, 2023 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Barbara Kay Lindenmuth, 73, of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, leaving from HospiceCare at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

She was born on December 29, 1949, in Logan, WV, to the late Veno and Odessa Stollings.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Lindenmuth; her cherished daughter, Mitzie Ball; and her brothers, Harold Stollings and Lester "Chub" Stollings.

Barbara was a woman of many talents and interests, which included gardening, baking, and crafting. Her love for these hobbies helped her to express her generosity toward others. She was also a woman who believed in service to others. Her helping hand extended far beyond her family and friends, making her a beloved figure in her community. Barbara loved animals, particularly her grandson's canine companion, Jack, who was often at the receiving end of her affectionate pampering. She always kept her house immaculate as well.

Barbara's faith was an integral part of her life. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Crawley Creek Church of God, where she served faithfully. A loving and caring person, Barbara was very devoted to those she loved and will be missed immensely.

Those left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Brandon Ball of Chapmanville, WV; her sister, Debbie (Dave) Dingess, also of Chapmanville, WV; a special cousin, Utta Mae Barker of Turtle Creek, WV; and best friends, Linda Risko of Pecks Mill, WV, and Donna Woody of Lake, WV. Additionally, Barbara leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
