Barbara Jean Vance, 73, of Sarah Ann, WV, departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV.

She was born August 14, 1950, at Lyburn, WV, a daughter of the late Earnest and Marie Marcum Kazee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Craddock; and two brothers, James Kazee and Lundy Kazee.

Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 54 years, Tennis Vance; one daughter, Jenny (Stevie) Trent; one granddaughter, Chloe Adams; one grandson, Hunter (Zoe) Trent; and one brother, Tommy (Kathy) Kazee. Additionally, Barbara leaves behind several nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home at Chapmanville, WV.
