Anthony G. Brumfield, 62, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Monday, October 28, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.
He was born February 26, 1962, at Huntington, WV, a son of the late Charles and Clairece Workman Brumfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Frye; his father-in-law, Kenneth Belcher; one nephew, Kenny Coovert; and two sisters-in-law, Pam Stollings and Diane Brumfield.
Anthony worked as a lineman at C&C for over 20 years. His passion for baseball was evident to all who knew him, and he was an avid Yankees fan. He also enjoyed coaching. A cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Anthony was very devoted to his family, and he loved each moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He attended Striker Bible Church. Anthony had an adventurous spirit, and he loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. The beach held a special place in his life. He also had a love for music and movies.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa A. Brumfield; one daughter, Ashton (Brandon) Toney; one son, Nick (Jenna) Brumfield; his grandchildren, Easton, Layken, and Mila; one brother, Charles Brumfield; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Belcher; nieces and nephews, Alex Brumfield, Brett Brumfield, Jason Frye, Jill (Mark) Carver, Samantha Coovert, Christopher Smith, Toni Le, Darren Stollings, and Brea Rorrer; one brother-in-law, Ernie Stollings; and two sisters-in-law, Cathy Rorrer and Diania Belcher. Additionally, Anthony leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Pastor John E. Godby officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brumfield Cemetery at Harts, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Funeral Home.
