Anna G. Whited, age 105, of Ikes Fork, WV, entered her heavenly home on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was born September 13, 1915, at Glen Alum, WV. She was the daughter of Elmer and Hester Ann Griffith. Mrs. Whited was a blessing to her family and to all that entered her home. She was widowed in 1961, and remained a faithful wife, mother, and grandmother all the days of her years. She never met a stranger, and she always had an open seat at her dinner table. She was known for her cooking, popsicles, and loving heart. She will be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Crockett Whited, Sr.; four sons, Lindsey Crockett Whited, Jr., and wife, Anna Mae Whited; William “Bill” Whited; twin stillborn babies; Robert “Bobby Don” Whited; Billy Jack Whited, and a special daughter-in-law/caregiver, Debby Whited; four brothers, Walter, Homer, Emory, and Edgar Griffith; four sisters, Ollie Burnette, Pauline Odum, Mary Crabtree, and Virginia Novak; one granddaughter, Donna Sue Whited; one grandson, Freeman “Junior” Morgan; two great-grandsons, Joshua Holbrook; Bobby Joe “BJ” Whited.

Survivors include one son, Jack and Diane Whited of Coeur d Alene, Idaho; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Whited of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Gwen Morgan of Cleveland, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 59 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville, WV.
