Mr. Allen Wesley Stowers, 63, departed this life on Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born on July 31, 1961, at Williamson, WV, the son of the late Dulaney and Margaret Kijack Stowers.
Allen was the long-time owner of Stowers Fire & Safety, where he dedicated his life to serving his community through his business with his tireless work ethic. A man of deep faith, Allen was an active member of the Grace Outreach Church in Logan, WV, where he lived out his beliefs and served others with a humble heart. His commitment to his faith was evident in every aspect of his life, and it guided him in his daily interactions with everyone he met. Those who knew him understood that his family was the cornerstone of his life. Allen cherished every moment spent with them, and his grandchildren were the light of his life. His love for his family was boundless, and he instilled in them the values of love, faith, and compassion. Allen was an avid traveler, who found joy in exploring the world and experiencing new cultures.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lanette Piekarek; and brother-in-law, Eddie Starr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Tambria Stowers; children, Rebekah (Matthew) Wood, Michael Stowers, and Kaitlyn (Derek) Maynard; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Wood, Charlotte Wood, Hazel Maynard, and expecting an additional granddaughter; sisters, Connie (Dennis) Medvee, JoAnn Starr, and Amy Stowers; brother-in-law, Dietmar Piekarek; special family friend, Tammy Davis; Grace Outreach Church Family; many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
In honoring Allen’s wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of life service to honor his memory will be held at a later date.
