Alfred Lee "Tojoe" Guess, 79, of Branchland, WV, passed away on September 26, 2021, surrounded by family at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Tojoe was a friend to all who knew him and was loved by many.
Born on June 26, 1942, Tojoe was the son of the late Lloyd Alfred Guess and Goldie Tennessee Meeks Guess.
In addition to his parents, Tojoe was also preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Browning and Marilyn “Mug” Adkins White; and brothers, Curtis Guess and David Guess.
Tojoe was born in Ethel, WV, and was a member of the military, serving in both the U.S. Army and the Air Force. He later found local television fame as a wrestler in Southern West Virginia.
