Albert “Pie” Adams, 60, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV, after a short illness.
He was born August 30, 1965, in Logan County, WV, a son of the late James and Hattie Stollings Adams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billie Ray Adams.
Pie was a true steward of the outdoors, finding joy in gardening, livestock, and fishing. Whether repairing fences at sunrise or tending to his garden at sunset, Pie was his happiest with dirt on his hands and his John Deere tractor close by. Pie’s legacy is rooted in the animals he left behind and the love he had for the great outdoors.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Tammie Adams; one daughter, Elizabeth (Clifford) Adkins; one son, Billy (Brooke) Adams; his grandchildren, Braylee, Carson, Paizlee, Parker, and Layton; four brothers, Brady (Beth) Adams, Bo (Patt) Adams, James (Tina) Adams, and Larry (Ellen) Adams; four sisters, Bonnie Sue (Marlin) Dingess, Brenda Adams (Daniel Carter), Belinda (Jim) Anderson, and Becky (Frankie) Sperry; one special cousin who was like a brother, Gary (Sandy) Stollings. Additionally, Pie leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of friends with one very loved dog, Baby Girl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV, with Rev. Boyd Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Brushy Fork, Chapmanville, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
