Airiel Wallace Obituary

Airiel Shai Wallace 31, (although she would tell you 23) of Dingess, WV received her complete healing on June 17, 2021, at 10:38 P.M.

She was born to Chastity and Mike Nichols on November 10, 1989, at Logan, WV.

Airiel rededicated her life to God after he granted her a miracle disguised as a stroke. After the doctors gave her up to die God said not so fast, she still has work to do.  For 3 years she dedicated herself to showing the world what God was able to do.

The relationship with her son Eli was more like best friends.  They loved to play video games, go on adventures, and always were picking up stray animals.

She was an amazing artist. She loved to paint on canvas or create things with paper mache that would amaze you.  There was never anything comparable to her nail art. She was a makeup artist extraordinaire!! She could pull off any hair color or style and she tried them all! We are pretty sure she created the “selfie” but if not created she perfected the “selfie”. Her eBay shopping kept the US Postal service in business.

She was a daddy’s girl and her mommy’s very heart.

If you were blessed enough to be her friend or family you had a front row seat to four wheelers in ponds, blazers in the creek, or dead animals tied to road signs.  Car trips included singing to the top of her lungs. She loved going to 5 & 6 Church Camp every summer.  All the friends she made there lasted her lifetime.

So many lives were touched by knowing her, but she also touched the lives of strangers who followed her story.  These strangers became friends. She was loved by and loved her Church Families, her community, and the many prayer warriors who went to the throne of grace on her behalf.

She always said when she was able to walk, she would have a big party.  She is now able to walk. So now she is celebrating, and we can celebrate with her.

She was greeted in heaven by her grandparents, Nancy and Alton Booth, Bessie Wallace, and Woodrow Nichols.

Those who are anxiously awaiting to join her in Heaven are her son, Eli Wallace of Dingess, WV; her parents, Chastity and Mike Nichols of Dingess, WV; her sister, Mikenna Nichols (Thomas Baisden) of Delbarton, WV; brother, Jeremy Nichols of Lancaster, KY; grandparents, Gail Booth Marcum of Dingess, WV, Terry Wallace Weeki-Wachee of Florida; Jean Nichols, Orient, OH; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Since we are celebrating, we are asking everyone to wear bright colors to Airiel’s services.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Cornerstone Christian Center at Dingess, WV with Brent Belcher officiating.  Burial will follow at Marcum Cemetery at Dingess, WV.
