Betty L. Clark Wells

Betty L. Clark Wells, 90, of Henlawson, WV, formerly of Yuma, WV, passed away surrounded by family at Hillcrest Health Care in Danville, WV on April 21, 2024.

She was born May 5, 1933, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late George Clark, Sr., and Thelma Browning Clark Farra.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles E. Wells; her steptather, Lace Farra; siblings, Bill, George Jr., Frankie, and Bobby Clark; and one stepson, Charles B. Wells.

Betty was very devoted to her family as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Benny (Joyce) Wells, Linda Saultz, Chad (Kelly) Wells, and Christopher Wells; nine grandchildren, Melissa (Shawn) Deer, Brandon (Angi) Wells, Janet (Mark) Vint, Justin Saultz, Josh (Jessica) Hatfield, Melinda (Leo) Beech, Kourtney Hardin, Keith Hatfield, and Chris Wells; 12 great-grandchildren, four of whom she loved spending time with when she lived at home, Mady Wells, Landon Wells, Lucas Vint, and Austin Deer; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Richard Clark; and two sisters, Joann George and Brenda Meade. Betty also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home at Chapmanville, WV, with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Donnie Wells officiating.

Betty will be lovingly laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
